Reelism · reelism.music · Last updated: July 26, 2026

This policy explains what Reelism ("we," "us") collects, why, and what your choices are. It applies to the Reelism website, web app, mobile apps, and API.

1. What we collect

Connected-service dataWith your permission: Spotify playlists and track metadata Playlist scanning features you enable

Billing dataSubscription status, plan, usage counts. Card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store full card numbers Operate billing and quotas

2. Uploaded audio — retention

We delete raw uploaded audio within 30 days of analysis (usually much sooner). We retain derived technical data — fingerprints, features, and verdicts — which cannot be converted back into a listenable recording. If you submit an appeal, we may retain the related audio for the duration of the appeal review.

3. What we do NOT do

4. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that operate the product: Supabase (authentication, database), Stripe (payments), hosting and infrastructure providers, and — only when you connect them — Spotify or Meta platforms. Each processes data under its own terms. We may disclose data if required by law, or in a merger/acquisition with notice.

5. Provenance lookups

To evaluate artist provenance we query public music catalogs (MusicBrainz, Deezer, iTunes) with the artist name being checked. These queries involve public catalog data, not your personal information.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA regions), you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account and associated personal data from account settings or by emailing info@reelism.music. We respond to verified requests within the legally required time.

7. Cookies

We use only cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to prevent abuse. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit; credentials and payments are handled by our authentication and payment providers, not stored by us. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users of breaches as required by law.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

We operate from the United States. If you use the Service from elsewhere, your data is processed in the U.S. under appropriate safeguards. [CONFIRM HOSTING REGIONS WITH COUNSEL.]

11. Changes

We will notify you of material changes through the Service or by email. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
